We all need inspiration at one point or another in life.
Life is not a rose garden – have you found that out? You probably just screamed, “YES!” in your head. I totally get it. Life is chaotic, crazy, busy, and just when you think you can’t handle one more thing – BOOM! there it is.
In those times, I am so thankful I have God on my side. When I am overwhelmed, anxious, worry-some, or am just having a rough day I turn to my Bible and read some Scriptures that would help my situation.
So I’ve listed some topics and the verse that you can look to if you’re feeling a similar way! I love confessing these out loud when I am dealing with one of these issues; it’s like a mental reset!
ANGER – Proverbs 14:29
ANXIETY – 2 Thessalonians 3:16
16} Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation.
BROKEN HEARTED – Psalms 147:3-5
3} He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
4} He counts the stars and calls them all by name.
5} How great is our Lord! His power is absolute!
His understanding is beyond comprehension!
Discouragement – Isaiah 41:10
10}Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
2 Timothy 1:7
7} “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
6} So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
FOCUS – Colossians 3:2
2} Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
9}So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
RESTLESS – Proverbs 3:24-26 NLT
24} “You can go to bed without fear; you will lie down and sleep soundly. 25}You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked, 26}for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.”
WORRY – Philippians 4:6-7
6}”Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7}Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
